Frequently asked questions
How does this tool estimate eligibility? +
Score 0-100 across 7 axes: indexability (HTTP 200 + no noindex), editorial substance (≥ 500 words), structure (1 H1 + multiple H2), link profile (reasonable external density), brand signals (Organization Schema or OG site_name), cleanliness (few scripts/iframes), freshness (detectable recent date). Each axis carries its weight — a site missing 1 non-critical axis stays viable.
Why is my URL rated «Borderline» when it's actually great? +
The tool is conservative, as we are when accepting a URL on the Stringer network. It penalizes pages without H1/H2 (often landing pages without editorial body), short pages (< 500 words = not enough semantic context to carry a link), and the absence of brand signals (Organization Schema or og:site_name) which raises an E-A-T concern. If you know one of these axes is intentionally absent (category page, home page), look at the other axes in isolation.
How does this differ from Ahrefs/Majestic? +
Ahrefs and Majestic measure external health (RD, TF/DR, existing backlink profile). This tool measures the editorial health of the page itself — the prerequisite question, before even looking for a placement. You can have a DR 50 site where 80% of pages are empty landing pages, not eligible. And a DR 25 site whose every article is a solid editorial cocoon, perfectly eligible.
Nice score, then what? +
If your page is eligible: you know it can carry an outbound editorial link without dragging quality perception. To buy an inbound link pointing to this page, we can handle that on the Stringer network — the page is credible enough to be worth it. If not eligible: before investing in backlinks, fix the structure (add H2, lengthen the text, remove noindex) — otherwise injected authority dilutes.
Page eligible? Let's buy
For an eligible URL to actually rise in the SERP, it needs fresh dofollow equity. The Stringer network places targeted editorial backlinks across 28 French media sites.
